Samsung continues to expand its product lineup, and following the recent launch of the Galaxy A17 5G, it is now preparing to launch a 4G version. The highly anticipated budget-friendly model’s specifications and pricing have been revealed.
The budget-friendly Galaxy A17 4G is coming
At the heart of the Galaxy A17 4G is MediaTek’s Helio G99 chipset. The device comes with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and storage options include 128GB and 256GB. The front of the phone features a striking 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.

The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro lens. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
The phone ships with Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box and will receive operating system updates for six years, as promised by Samsung.
With these features, the phone holds a strong position in the affordable segment. The combination of the Super AMOLED display and 90Hz refresh rate, in particular, provides an advantage not seen in most phones in this price range.
MediaTek’s Helio G99 chipset also offers sufficient performance for daily use and light gaming. Furthermore, a 5,000mAh battery and 25W fast charging support ensure the device will easily last a day.
The Galaxy A17 4G, which will be available in black, blue, and gray, has a starting price of $179.
