New details continue to emerge about Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series, which the company is preparing to introduce in 2024. There are many questions regarding the performance of the new phones from the South Korean company, and one of these uncertainties pertains to the display. This uncertainty is slowly starting to diminish. Recently, the screen specifications of the flagship Galaxy S24 Ultra model, equipped with top-tier features, have been revealed.
What will the Galaxy S24 Ultra offer in terms of display?
Ice Universe, known in the industry for leaks, has unveiled the screen specifications of the upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra model. According to this information, the smartphone will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with a resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels, offering Quad HD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 19:5:9.
The detail about the flat display in the report is quite critical, as the predecessors of the device utilized a curved panel. If this claim turns out to be true, we will all witness the kind of reactions this change will generate among the users.
It is said that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will come with two CPU variants: the Exynos 2400 for different markets and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for the Galaxy series. Thanks to Qualcomm’s agreement with Samsung, last year we saw a specialized and more powerful version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor labeled as “for Galaxy” being used in the Galaxy S23 models.
The features and performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor that will be used in the Galaxy S24 series have emerged. The chipset, consisting of 8 cores: 1×3.30 GHz Cortex X4, 3×3.15 GHz Cortex A720, 2×2.96 GHz Cortex A720, and 2×2.27 GHz Cortex A520, utilizes an Adreno 750 GPU for graphics processing.
