With game prices rising daily, we’ve shifted our focus entirely to subscription services. Among the most popular options is Xbox Game Pass, a platform that frequently updates its library. Recently, it announced that a new title from a legendary series would be joining its collection.
Metal Slug Tactics is coming to Xbox Game Pass
The new game from the classic Metal Slug series, a beloved part of many gamers’ childhoods since its arcade days in the 1990s, is set to release on November 5 for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Series S.
Publisher Dotemu and developer Leikir Studio have confirmed that Metal Slug Tactics will be available on Xbox Game Pass on its release day.
Metal Slug Tactics brings the iconic concept of the Metal Slug series to the world of tactical role-playing games (RPG). Players will engage in strategic battles against enemies using familiar characters. Retaining its 2D pixel graphics, the game delivers a nostalgic atmosphere, yet introduces a turn-based combat system, a significant change for the series, where players must develop tactics to defeat their foes.
