Motorola’s highly anticipated new entry-level smartphone is on the way! The countdown for the Motorola Moto G15 has begun. The device’s technical specifications have been detected on the Geekbench platform, providing an important clue that the model will be launched in the coming weeks.
The new device from Motorola will be the successor to the Moto G14, which was officially released in August 2023. The leaked data reveals details about the Moto G15’s Geekbench scores, along with information about its RAM and operating system. Here are the details…
Motorola Moto G15 specifications revealed
The Moto G15 scored 340 and 1,311 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. For comparison, the Moto G14 model with 8 GB of RAM reached 447 and 1,577 points. While the new model lags behind its predecessor, it is expected that optimizations after the official launch could boost its performance.
The Geekbench listing shows that the tested Moto G15 has 4 GB of RAM and runs on the Android 15 operating system. These details are noteworthy, especially for an entry-level model, which suggests the device may stand out in its category. The motherboard section mentions the codename “lamu” and the Mali-G52 MC2 GPU.
Unfortunately, the chipset has not been revealed yet. However, it is reported to have eight cores, six running at 1.7 GHz and two at 2 GHz. It’s worth noting that the Moto G14 was released with a Unisoc T616 chipset, and the Moto G15 is likely to be supported by a similar Unisoc “T” series chipset.
The Motorola Moto G15 is expected to support 4G connectivity. For now, this is all the available information about the device, but it’s expected to receive more certifications and leaks in the coming weeks. The release date remains uncertain for now.
