The tablet market, like the Android phone market, continues to expand day by day. Infinix appears to be making a move in this highly competitive market. The features and design of the Infinix Xpad, expected to be the company’s first tablet and leaked for the first time last month, have now surfaced. Here are the details of the Infinix Xpad…
Infinix Xpad to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate processor
The tablet, rumored to be in development by Infinix, has had nearly all its features revealed. It seems that the company’s first tablet, featuring entry-level specs, will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate processor. This processor, built on a 6nm manufacturing process, has eight cores in total—2x ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked up to 2.2GHz and 6x ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2GHz.
Accompanying the MediaTek Helio G99 processor will be 4GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage. On the display side, the Infinix Xpad is expected to feature an 11-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate.
As for cameras, the device will likely sport a dual-camera system on the rear with a 12-megapixel and an 8-megapixel sensor, along with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Running on the Infinix XOS based on Android 14, the Xpad will be equipped with a 7,000mAh battery.
Currently, it is expected to be launched only with a Wi-Fi option and will take its place in the Android tablet market with entry-level features. The tablet is anticipated to be officially introduced in the coming months. What do you think about the Infinix Xpad’s features? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
