Everything about the iPhone 16 series, from battery capacities to designs, is almost confirmed. Apple traditionally unveils new iPhone models in September, and this year seems to be no different. So, when is the iPhone 16 series launch date? Here are the details…
iPhone 16 launch date leaked: Coming on September 10
According to CNMO Technology News, the iPhone 16 series will be launched on September 10. This date aligns with Apple’s habit of announcing iPhones on Tuesdays. For example, last year’s event was held on Tuesday, September 12.
However, CNMO doesn’t have a strong track record for such predictions, and it’s unclear where they sourced this information. So, it’s wise to take this report with a grain of skepticism. The iPhone 16 series is poised to be one of the most exciting Apple launches in recent years, with a significant focus on AI features.
The series is also expected to bring substantial hardware upgrades. Larger 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch Pro models, redesigned standard models, new shooting controls, and faster 3nm chips across the lineup are among the anticipated changes.
The Pro models will feature the Tetraprism 5x optical zoom lens from last year’s Pro models and will come with a new 48MP ultra-wide camera. All models, except the iPhone 16 Plus, are expected to see an increase in battery capacities, along with support for faster wired and wireless charging speeds.
Additionally, the iPhone 16 series is rumored to include AI features under the branding “Apple Intelligence,” which will operate on-device. This could make the iPhone 16 stand out as one of the top-tier phones of 2024.
