Sony has released a list of the most downloaded PlayStation games for the US, Canada, and Europe during October 2025. The list includes both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 platforms, as well as PS VR2 and free-to-play games. According to the list, Battlefield 6 and Ghost of Yotei emerged as the most popular titles of the month.

Most Downloaded PlayStation Games

PlayStation 5 experienced stiff competition in October. Battlefield 6 topped the list covering the US and Canada, followed closely by Ghost of Yotei and NBA 2K26.

EA Sports FC 26, ARC Raiders, and Dispatch rounded out the region’s top six downloaded games. The European rankings are largely similar, with Battlefield 6 maintaining its lead. Other top-ranking titles in Europe were Ghost of Yotei, EA Sports FC 26, and the long-running, popular Grand Theft Auto V.

On the PlayStation 4 platform, a single game topped the charts in both regions. Red Dead Redemption 2 was the most downloaded game of October in both the US/Canada and Europe.

Following this popular title, EA Sports FC 26, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Batman: Arkham Knight, and Grand Theft Auto V were the PS4 charts. The most popular free games among both PS5 and PS4 users were Battlefield REDSEC and the globally popular Fortnite.

This data clearly demonstrates which games were most popular among users within the PlayStation ecosystem in October.
