There are many brands that produce cars. These brands, which are constantly in competition with each other, constantly strive to increase consumer satisfaction. Of course, this plays a critical role in determining reliability levels. A recently shared report clearly revealed the most reliable car manufacturers.

This ranking by Consumer Reports was created by listening to the complaints of vehicle owners between 2000 and 2023. In this context , data obtained from more than 330 thousand vehicles were used to determine the reliability ranking.

The most reliable car brands (2023)

Lexus was at the top of the list of the most reliable car brands. This brand, founded by Japanese Toyota , has a reliability rate of 79 percent . Toyota, which comes in second place, was found to be reliable with a rate of 76 percent . It was surprising that the sub-brand of this company had a higher reliability score than itself.

2024 Car of the Year finalist announced

Mini and Acura ranked third and fourth on the list, respectively . These two brands are trusted by 71 percent and 70 percent . When we scroll down the list a little further, we see that the US electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla has a reliability of 48 percent .

According to data, electric vehicles are less trusted than gasoline vehicles. The reason for this is, as you can imagine, important cases such as fire, which have increased in recent years. It is estimated that this situation will change in the coming years.
