Before Volkswagen’s next-generation T-Roc is officially unveiled, detailed images of its exterior and interior design have leaked online. The photos, shared on the Chinese website AutoHome, reveal many aspects of the vehicle, which is expected to be unveiled at the end of August. The new T-Roc is scheduled to make its debut at the Munich Motor Show in September.
The new Volkswagen T-Roc is about to be unveiled
The leaked images show Volkswagen integrating its current design lines into the new T-Roc. The vehicle shares similarities with the modern aesthetics used in both the brand’s Golf series and its electric SUVs. While the dynamic body line is preserved, changes to the rear pillars, black details on the bumpers, and LED light strips have created a sportier appearance. Illuminated Volkswagen logos also add a visually stylish touch to the vehicle’s exterior design.

The interior similarly adopts a language similar to current Volkswagen models. The instrument cluster has been completely redesigned and equipped with a larger infotainment screen. The three-spoke steering wheel, with its physical buttons, maintains traditional controls while offering a modernized user experience with digital displays. The interior’s material quality and ergonomics are among the brand’s efforts to maintain its position in the compact SUV segment.
While no official information has been released regarding engine options, the “eTSI” badge on the trunk lid indicates that the vehicle features 48-volt mild hybrid technology. This system is believed to be powered by the internal combustion engines familiar from the Golf series.
A plug-in hybrid option is also likely to be added to the lineup. This engine range aims to make the T-Roc more efficient and sustainable in line with environmental regulations and consumer expectations.
All technical details and equipment options regarding Volkswagen’s new model will be revealed with the official launch in the coming weeks. However, leaked images already indicate that the new T-Roc reflects the brand’s evolving approach in both design and technology.
