Continuing to expand its electric vehicle portfolio, Mazda is preparing to officially introduce its new model named EZ-60. This model will be an electric crossover developed in partnership with Mazda and Chinese Changan. The Mazda EZ-60 will be introduced at the Shanghai Motor Show and will initially be offered only to the Chinese market. However, the vehicle is expected to be offered for sale in the global market under the name CX-6e.
New Mazda EZ-60 will rival Tesla Model Y
On the design side, the Mazda EZ-60 looks particularly similar to the brand’s Arata concept. At the front of the model, the split headlamp design that offers a dynamic structure draws attention. Thin daytime LEDs combine at the bottom of the grille to create a light signature.

On the side, there are dual-coloured wheels, digital side mirrors, hidden door handles and gloss black dodics, while the rear features a stylish slim taillight design. The interior design of the EZ-60 is expected to be similar to the previous EZ-6 sedan model.
In this direction, features such as two-spoke steering wheel, digital display, multimedia screen, floating centre console and monolithic glass roof are expected to be offered. Although technical details have not yet been finalised, the EZ-60 is expected to stand out in terms of battery capacity and range.
This new model seems to increase Mazda’s claim in the electric vehicle market. So what do you think about this vehicle? Do you think Mazda will be able to return to its shining days in the automotive industry? You can easily share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
