Philips is preparing to launch its new monitor model, the 27M2N3800A, under its gaming-focused product line, Evnia, in Europe. The 27-inch display stands out with its dual-mode design. Users can choose between high visual quality at 4K resolution with a 160Hz refresh rate or the ultimate smoothness of Full HD resolution with a 320Hz refresh rate.

The display panel also offers strong color accuracy. Boasting 130% sRGB, 95% DCI-P3, and 90% Adobe RGB color gamut coverage, the Evnia 27M2N3800A also features HDR 400 support and a brightness level of 450 nits. Its response time has been reduced to 0.5 ms, ensuring a clear image, especially in fast-action gaming scenes.

The monitor also includes various software features to support the gaming experience. Smart Crosshair support, ShadowBoost illumination for dark areas, and pre-defined image profiles tailored to different game genres are among the highlights.
Ports include two HDMI 2.1 and one DisplayPort 1.4 inputs. These connections allow for simultaneous display from two different devices. Features such as a low blue light mode, anti-reflective coating, a headphone jack, and built-in speakers are also included to enhance everyday comfort.
The Philips Evnia 27M2N3800A will be available in Europe starting in July. It’s available for pre-order in Germany for approximately $379 and the UK for £279. Meanwhile, Philips has also announced the 27M2N8500X, a 500Hz refresh rate QD-OLED panel, in China. This model is priced at $835, but an international release date has not yet been announced.
