Interesting rumors have emerged from China about the Find X9s, the next member of Oppo’s Find X series. Despite being a compact flagship, the new model is said to feature a massive 7,000mAh battery. This capacity represents a significant increase over the 5,700mAh battery of the previous Find X8s.

Oppo Find X9s Offers a Massive Battery

Following the recent launch of the Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, attention has turned to the next “s” version of the series. Given that the Find X8s was released in April of last year, the Find X9s is expected to be unveiled on a similar schedule, in the spring of 2026.

The device is expected to be positioned as a compact flagship. Given the Find X8s’s 6.32-inch screen, it seems likely that the Find X9s will also feature a similar screen size.

On the hardware front, the Find X8s model used MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chip. Therefore, if MediaTek introduces a new Dimensity 9500+ processor, the Find X9s is expected to feature this new chip.

The device is expected to be introduced alongside the Find X9 Ultra. It’s also anticipated that, as in previous years, the Find X9s will likely be accompanied by a Find X9s+ version. In terms of design, the Find X9s is expected to largely retain the design lines of the main Find X9 model, and no major changes should be expected. This significant battery boost will be a significant improvement for users seeking long battery life in small phones.
