Nothing has completed its work on its new mid-range model. The performance of the Nothing Phone (2a), whose technical specifications were leaked in recent weeks, has been revealed. Here are the details:

According to leaked information, Nothing will equip its new model with MediaTek’s Dimensity 7200 processor. Manufactured with 4nm technology, the processor features 2 Cortex-A715 cores clocked at 2.8 GHz and 6 Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. The graphics interface of the processor is Mali-G610.
In the AnTuTu 10 benchmark, the Phone (2a) achieved a score of 738,164 points in overall tests and 236,788 points in CPU tests. The device’s graphics score is reported to be 180,516 points.
Despite being budget-friendly, the device will feature an OLED panel. According to leaked information, the company will opt for a 6.7-inch screen size for the new model.
Nothing will offer two different RAM options for the new model: 8 GB and 12 GB. Storage options will include 128 GB and 256 GB. Additionally, the device is said to feature a dual-camera setup with a 50-megapixel main camera.
Due to its budget-friendly nature, it’s mentioned that the LED lighting features on the back cover will be reduced. Listed with the model number AIN142, the device will be announced alongside the Nothing Phone (3) at the MWC 2024 event on February 27.
The Nothing Phone (2a) will come with the Nothing OS 2.5 interface based on Android 14 out of the box. It’s worth noting that the LED island, named Glif, has been redesigned according to leaked information.
