WhatsApp has started testing a new sticker feature on the Android beta version to make status updates more fun and creative. In the 2.25.5.20 beta version, users can now add a photo they choose from their gallery to their status as a sticker. So, how exactly is this feature used? Details in our news…
New Instagram-style status update feature from WhatsApp!
Now, thanks to this feature, users can crop their photos, use the selected area as a sticker, and choose from different frame shapes (rectangle, square, circle, heart, star, etc.). In addition, stickers can be resized and moved freely in the status content.

In fact, this new feature of WhatsApp is quite similar to the sticker adding feature on Instagram Stories. We understand from this that the purpose of Meta is to make the content creation experience between WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook more compatible with this update.
To be honest, this feature is currently only active for a limited number of beta users. WhatsApp has not yet made an official statement about when it will be available to the general public. In addition, it may undergo some changes when it comes to the stable version.
So what do you think about this issue? Do you think WhatsApp adding features similar to Instagram will change the nature of the application? Do users want more visual freedom in their status updates? You can write your opinions in the comments section below…
