Apple Watch Series 10 users have reported that the device’s speaker volume has decreased or become muffled over time. This problem has been reported by many users, especially on Reddit and Apple Community support forums, and has been going on for several months.
Are Apple Watch Series 10 speakers failing?
Launched in September, the Apple Watch Series 10 is currently the most up-to-date and powerful model available, not counting the Ultra 2. But just a month after the sale, a user noted that the device experienced a drop in speaker volume.

In the support thread opened on the subject, many users reported similar problems. One user commented, ‘I’m using Apple Watch 10. The speaker sounds very low during calls and sounds like a pop when people are talking.’ There were more than 43 ‘Me Too’ responses to this issue on Apple’s official support site.
Similarly, a Reddit user stated that 10 days after the release day of Series 10, all sounds became static and muffled. While the first images posted in the Reddit thread showed a blocked speaker grille, other users reported cracked or distorted audio.
Some users sent their devices to Apple for replacement, but the new watches reportedly experienced the same audio issue. Since the Series 10 is the first model to offer audio playback through the built-in speaker, users may not be fully accustomed to this feature.
