Samsung has accelerated its work for the new models of the new flagship Galaxy S family. According to leaked information, the company will use only its own Exynos processor in the Samsung Galaxy S25. Here are the details
Samsung Galaxy S25 will only come with Exynos processor
According to the leaked information, Samsung, which is in the final stage of Galaxy S25 production, will include the Exynos processor in all of its new models. It is estimated that the company will use the Exynos 2500 model in the new flagship models.
Samsung Galaxy S25 will only come with Exynos processor
Samsung, which has preferred country-based processors in Galaxy S models released in the past years, will now only include its own processors. On the other hand, Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 will only use Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. The entry-level and mid-range Galaxy A series will be launched with MediaTek and Samsung processors.
It is rumored that the Exynos 2500 model has the same 10-core processing cluster configuration as the Exynos 2400. Samsung will introduce Cortex X5, which is expected to come with various upgrades over Cortex X4, which will improve performance one step further.
The Exynos 2500 will also feature an updated Cortex-A730 with the current Cortex-A520 core. The clock speed on the new processor is said to be between 3.20GHz and 3.30GHz, which means a 100MHz difference compared to the previous model.
The most important development for the Exynos 2500 is that it will be manufactured using Samsung’s state-of-the-art 3nm GAA process. This will be a huge improvement over the 4LPP+ node used for the Exynos 2400. As expected, this is the first time this process will be used for a smartphone chipset. This move is expected to further strengthen Samsung’s dominance in the flagship chipset market.
