Redmi’s highly anticipated flagship series, the Redmi K90, will be officially unveiled in China on Thursday, October 23rd. The brand’s latest promotional images confirm that the K90 series will stand out not only for its high performance but also for its record-breaking battery life. Redmi has officially announced that the top-of-the-line Redmi K90 Pro Max will feature the largest battery ever in a Redmi phone.
Redmi K90 Pro Max Specifications
As confirmed in the official poster, the Redmi K90 Pro Max will pack a massive 7,560 mAh battery. This capacity sets a new record, surpassing the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, launched earlier this year with a 7,550 mAh battery, by just 10 mAh.

The charging capabilities to power the powerful battery are also flagship-level:
- Wired Charging: 100W fast charging support.
- Wireless Charging: 50W wireless charging support.
- Reverse Wireless Charging: 22.5W reverse wireless charging.
The Redmi K90 Pro Max pushes the limits in battery and charging while also promising a premium experience in other hardware features. It boasts a large 6.9-inch OLED display with 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, reportedly on par with the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s next-generation flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Graphics performance will be handled by a dedicated D2 chip.
The device will run HyperOS 3.0 out of the box, based on Android 16. It’s Redmi’s first phone with a periscope telephoto camera. The rear setup includes a 50-megapixel OmniVision Light Fusion 950 main camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom, and an ultra-wide-angle camera. As previously leaked, the device will also feature three speakers on the back, including a custom Bose-powered unit. It will also offer IP68/69 certified water and dust resistance.
While details about the standard K90 model are currently limited, it is expected to come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. Rumors are swirling in tech circles that the K90 Pro Max will be rebranded as the Poco F8 Ultra for the global market, while the standard K90 will be rebranded as the Poco F8 Pro. The Redmi K90 series launch is just days away, and all details will be made official on October 23rd.
