Xiaomi recently confirmed through a promotional poster that the upcoming Redmi Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro Plus models will boast IP69 certification. This level of protection ensures the devices can withstand high-pressure and even hot water exposure.

The key point here is that Xiaomi’s latest flagship Xiaomi 15 series only comes with IP68 certification. This indicates that the upcoming mid-range models will outshine the flagship lineup in terms of water and dust resistance.
