Samsung’s highly anticipated tri-fold smartphone, the Galaxy Z TriFold, is preparing for release. Leaked information reveals important details about the device’s multitasking capabilities and user interface. This phone, particularly with its new feature called “Split Trio,” which allows users to use three apps simultaneously on the full screen, is aimed at productivity-focused users.
Galaxy Z TriFold Coming Soon
Leaks indicate that the Galaxy Z TriFold will feature a 10.1-inch internal foldable display. This large screen allows users to comfortably use three apps simultaneously. While the current Galaxy Z Fold models also allowed for three app windows to be opened side by side, the small size of these windows made the user experience difficult.

The Galaxy Z TriFold, on the other hand, offers a more comfortable experience by opening each app window at the size of a regular phone screen. This advanced multitasking feature comes with Samsung’s new interface, One UI 8.5.
Another notable feature of the device is the ability to mirror content between the cover screen and the internal display. This allows users to manage their home screens more efficiently by transferring the three-screen layout on the cover screen to the larger internal display. This feature can be disabled at any time, as with the current Galaxy Z Fold models.
On the hardware front, leaks indicate that the device will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. In addition to the powerful processor, expected features include a triple-camera setup, a slimmer design, and a larger battery compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The Galaxy Z TriFold is rumored to be unveiled in the last quarter of 2025. The device is expected to cost between $2,500 and $3,000.
