Samsung is bringing its popular mobile internet browser, Samsung Internet, to Windows desktops. The browser is now available for download for Windows 11 and Windows 10 users and offers cross-device syncing.
Samsung Internet Browser Available for PC
Samsung Internet is a mobile browser that has gained popularity among Android users, but is often considered underappreciated. The browser boasts unique features that give it an advantage over its competitors, such as customizable homepages, password-protected tabs for privacy, and AI-powered navigation assistance.

Until now, Samsung Internet has been limited to mobile devices, but this changes with the release of a new beta version for PC. The PC beta version of the browser became available for download in select countries on October 30th. Originally released for Windows in late 2023 but later removed from the Microsoft Store, the browser is now permanently available.
Upon launch, users are greeted by the setup process common to many other browsers. Users are asked to log in with their Samsung account to enable data syncing. It also offers the option to import bookmarks and data from other browsers and the ability to enable the built-in ad blocker.
Split View allows users to split the browser into two sections and browse separate websites side by side or on top of each other; this feature is similar to the multitasking feature on Galaxy smartphones. The browser incorporates Samsung’s approach to Incognito mode, which allows for private browsing.
Navigation Assistance, powered by Galaxy AI, offers website summaries and translations. Intelligent Tracking Prevention prevents websites from tracking user activity, and Strick mode is available for more aggressive protection.
The browser also features Dark Mode, which manually or automatically activates the dark theme based on system settings. Samsung Internet is currently available only in the United States and Korea, with a later release for users in other countries. Those interested can sign up through the Samsung Internet Beta website.
