The countdown has officially begun for the much-anticipated OnePlus 12, set to be introduced very soon. A significant portion of the smartphone’s features is already known thanks to leaks that have surfaced until today. A new report shared today sheds light on what the model will offer on the display side.
What will OnePlus 12 offer users?
Digital Chat Station, known for leaks in the industry, revealed the screen features of the upcoming OnePlus 12 model. According to this, the smartphone will feature a 6.82-inch curved OLED panel produced by BOE. Additionally, it will offer a resolution of 3168 x 1440p and a 120Hz LTPO display refresh rate.
In the processing power department, it will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. According to reports, the chip will provide a significant performance boost and host a Cortex-X4 core with a speed of 3.7GHz. Changes in the core architecture of the processor are also expected.
On the battery side, the device will likely have a 5,000mAh battery supporting 150W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. VC liquid cooling, which minimizes heat during gaming, will also be present in the product. Moreover, it is expected to offer 24GB of RAM and internal storage of up to 1TB.
The current flagship chipset, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, features the Cortex-X3 architecture and operates at 3.2 GHz. This implies a direct impact on daily performance. Additionally, the new processor is expected to have a 1+5+2 architecture, consisting of one “super large” core, five “large” cores, and two “small” cores.
Max Jambor, known for leaks in the industry, revealed the launch date of the OnePlus 12 in the past weeks. According to him, the smartphone will be available to users in December. Although a specific date has not been provided yet, it is expected to initially be released in China and later globally.
