Vivo has accelerated preparations for its S50 series smartphones, which will be unveiled in China on December 15th, and anticipation is already at its peak. Both the Vivo S50 and S50 Pro Mini models have appeared on major retail platforms for pre-order, and Chinese tech bloggers have painted a clearer picture of the configurations, colors, and hardware options awaiting buyers.
Vivo S50 and S50 Pro Mini Variants and Colors
The standard Vivo S50 model will be offered in four memory/storage options: 12GB+256GB, 16GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+512GB. Color options include Space Black, Confession White, Calm Blue, and Inspiration Purple. The more compact S50 Pro Mini will come in three versions: 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+512GB. This model’s color palette includes Space Black, Confession White, and Inspirational Purple.

The Vivo S50 is expected to feature a 6.59-inch OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution. Powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, the device will have a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. The main rear camera will be a 50-megapixel LYT-700V sensor.
The Vivo S50 Pro Mini will feature a smaller 6.31-inch OLED 1.5K display. This model will be powered by the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. While the battery capacity remains the same at 6,500mAh, it will also support 40W wireless charging in addition to 90W wired charging. The main rear camera will feature a Sony IMX921 50-megapixel sensor.
Both models will feature high-end features such as LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, a 50-megapixel front-facing camera, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope camera, Android 16-based OriginOS 6, an aerospace-grade metal frame, an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint reader, and an IP68/69 water and dust resistance rating.
According to leaks, the S50 Pro Mini is expected to launch globally as the Vivo X300 FE. It’s also rumored that the Vivo V70, expected to launch globally in the first quarter of 2026 (Q1 2026), will share similar specifications to the Vivo S50.
