The abundance of options in the phone market makes thorough research almost mandatory when purchasing a new device. Fortunately, reliable platforms like DxOMark make the decision-making process much easier by comparing different models against specific criteria. So, which phone is currently the best in the world?
The vivo X200 Ultra is the world’s best photo-taking phone.
DxOMark recently released the vivo X200 Ultra’s camera performance. The phone achieved a score of 173 in photography, making it the world’s best. It also topped criteria like bokeh, ultra-wide, and telephoto.

As is well known, DxOMark scores aren’t solely determined by photo performance. The overall camera score is more important here. While the device is the best in the world for photography, it fell short of expectations, particularly with its 156 score in video recording. This resulted in an overall score of 167. This puts the device in second place in overall camera performance, behind the Oppo Find X8 Ultra, which had been at the top for some time with a score of 169.
