Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim launch remains uncertain
While the company will launch three main models at the Galaxy Unpacked event, it will unveil its ultra-slim device later. It looks like the S25 Slim will take even longer to see the light of day. The new smartphone will have the model number SM-S937.
Android Authority reported that in its search for more information about upcoming models in the latest beta of One UI 7, it saw no signs of a Slim version of the S25 series.
It has been revealed that Samsung will not release the One UI 7 beta update for old devices such as the Galaxy S23 series.
Galaxy S25 devices SM-S931 (Galaxy S25), SM-S936 (Galaxy S25+) and SM-S938 (Galaxy S25 Ultra) were detected in the beta, while SM-S937, which will be S25 Slim, was not seen in the beta. This leads us to think that if it’s nothing more than a rumor, Samsung might take a little longer to show off its new device.
For some time, it was thought that the Galaxy S25 Slim could be the fourth member of the family that Samsung will unveil at the Galaxy Unpacked event in January. But unfortunately, these expectations seem to have come to naught.
