Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, which has created a huge buzz in the gaming world, achieved a record success on its release day. Developed by Warhorse Studios and highly anticipated, the game managed to recoup its $40 million budget within just 24 hours. The game received significant attention on Steam and other platforms, with sales numbers reaching millions in a short period.

Game Surpasses 1 Million Sales on Day 1

Dan Vavra, one of the co-founders of Warhorse Studios, confirmed the game’s impressive performance in an interview with the Czech press. He said, “We are happy with these numbers, and it would be great if sales continue at this pace.” Vavra noted that the financial success of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has been a huge motivator for the studio.

Not only did the game recoup its production cost, but it also sold over 1 million copies on its first day, landing at the top of Steam’s bestseller list. With major improvements in visuals, gameplay mechanics, and AI compared to its predecessor, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has been highly praised, especially by RPG fans.

Despite February being filled with major game releases, Warhorse Studios expects the interest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 to remain high. The substantial revenue will also provide financial resources for the studio’s future projects.
