The Sekizsilindir YouTube channel conducted an electric vehicle range test in Turkey covering six popular models. This test demonstrated the vehicles’ performance under real-world road conditions and at highway speeds. The Togg T10F, T10X, Tesla Model Y, Kia EV3, and Hyundai Ioniq 6 participated in the test.
Electric Vehicle Range Test Results
In the highway driving test, the vehicles set off with their batteries fully charged. The winner was the Tesla Model Y LR, which covered 522 km with its 81 kWh battery. The range achieved by other vehicles surprised drivers.
In the test, the Tesla Model Y LR, equipped with an 81 kWh battery, took first place with a range of 522 km. The Model Y SR (Standard Range), equipped with a 65 kWh battery, covered 440 km. The Hyundai Ioniq 6, equipped with a 53 kWh battery, achieved a range of 360 km.
Among the domestically produced models in the test, the Togg T10F V2 LR, powered by an 88.5 kWh battery, offered a range of 480 km. The Togg T10X V2 LR, powered by the same battery, achieved a range of 402 km. Another ambitious model, the Kia EV3 LR with an 81.4 kWh battery, achieved a range of 500 km.

Looking at average consumption, the Tesla Model Y SR had the lowest consumption at 14.1 kWh. The Togg T10X V2 LR had the highest consumption at 21.6 kWh. The test also tested how far the vehicles could go after their battery was depleted. The Model Y LR had the longest range after its battery was depleted, again at 46 km. The Ioniq 6 had an additional 11 km.
