Samsung has taken a significant step forward in its artificial intelligence technology and shared details about its Galaxy AI Turkish language support efforts.

Samsung Electronics Turkey President Jeff Jo made important statements on the subject. Jo stated that the Turkish market is of great importance to Samsung. Therefore, they are paying special attention to language development processes.
The company aims to eliminate language barriers. In this context, the local R&D unit in Turkey plays an active role. Turkish engineers are teaching the AI the nuances of the language. This way, users experience a much more natural experience.
AI features were introduced with the One UI 6.1 update. The Galaxy S24 series, in particular, pioneered this feature. However, support wasn’t limited to these models.
Samsung has also brought the update to its older flagships. The Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold5, and Z Flip5 models have received these features. The Galaxy Tab S9 tablet series has also been added to the list.
Language support isn’t just limited to word translation. Samsung also values cultural nuances and local discourse. This is where the local R&D center comes in. The team is integrating the Turkish language into the AI in the most accurate way.
Galaxy AI currently supports 16 different languages. Developing Turkish support with local resources provides a significant advantage, allowing users to communicate more fluently.
