Transleyt, developed by Aicoor Information Technologies, an R&D company operating at Boğaziçi University Technopark’s Kandilli Campus, allows users to cross-translate in 30 languages. In addition to languages such as Turkish, English, Ottoman Turkish, Arabic and Chinese, Transleyt can also translate into lesser known languages. Another important feature of the platform is the ability to fine-tune the tone, style, and space of translations to suit the needs of users.

AI-powered Transleyt is especially useful for academics, researchers and students. The platform not only translates text, but can also decipher audio files and translate them into the desired language. It also speeds up users’ work processes by making scanned PDF files searchable with OCR technology.

Another remarkable feature of Transleyt is its ability to transcribe old Turkish texts and simplify them according to different periods. This feature makes it possible to adapt texts dating back to the 13th century into today’s Turkish. The platform can not only translate from Ottoman Turkish to modern Turkish, but also translate these texts into 30 different languages.
