It was revealed that these individuals were specifically targeting key figures in the defense industry.

Following the investigation, it was determined that some individuals working for the United Arab Emirates intelligence were operating against our country. It was revealed that these individuals were specifically targeting key figures in the defense industry.

The suspects’ modus operandi was also clarified in a statement by the prosecutor’s office. The suspects smuggled a GSM line they obtained from a Turkish operator abroad and delivered it to UAE intelligence. Through these fake profiles, they attempted to contact defense industry executives and several foreign officials. The aim was to obtain biographical data and private information about these individuals.

Four suspects were identified as part of the ongoing investigation. The raids were launched on November 25th, following the prosecutor’s orders. Three suspects were apprehended and detained during the raids. An arrest warrant was issued for the other suspect, who was determined to be abroad.
