Skoda Elroq introduced in four versions
The Czech car manufacturer Skoda, part of the VAG group, has introduced its first vehicle in the C-SUV segment amidst the recent electric car trend. In addition to its bold appearance and spacious design, the Skoda Elroq reflects the Modern Solid philosophy and stands out with its four versions: Elroq 50, 65, 85, and 85x, each offering different features.
The entry-level model, the Elroq 50, comes with a 55 kWh battery capacity and a rear-wheel-drive electric motor producing 125 kW of power. The Elroq 60 is powered by a 63 kWh battery and a 150 kW electric motor, while the Elroq 85 and 85x come with an 82 kWh battery and an electric motor generating 210 kW of power.
Hydrogen Collaboration Between Hyundai and Skoda
In addition to these motor options, the Elroq versions come with different charging features. The Elroq 50 and 60 charge from 10% to 80% in 25 minutes, while the Elroq 85 and 85x support DC charging up to 175 kW. The rear-wheel-drive Elroq 50 offers a range of 370 km, the Elroq 65 400 km, and the Elroq 85 and 85x 560 km (with the 85x offering all-wheel drive).
In terms of design, the Skoda Elroq is 4,488 mm long, 1,884 mm wide, 1,625 mm high, and has a wheelbase of 2,765 mm. This new electric C-SUV also offers 470 liters of boot space in the rear. Currently, Skoda Elroq is one of the most affordable electric cars among compact SUVs in the European market, starting at €33,000.
