The vivo X Fold 5 features a large 8.03-inch inner AMOLED display with a resolution of 2480×2200 pixels. It supports an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz and delivers a peak brightness of up to 4500 nits, making it one of the brightest foldables on the market.
On the outside, there’s a 6.53-inch FHD+ AMOLED cover display. Both screens offer 120Hz refresh rates, Dolby Vision support, 10.7 billion color reproduction, and high-frequency PWM dimming technology to reduce eye strain.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The top-tier configuration includes 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Thanks to a foldable-specific antenna system, signal strength is said to improve by up to 36% when the phone is closed.
In the camera department, the vivo X Fold 5 packs a 50 MP Sony IMX921 main sensor, a 50 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50 MP IMX882 periscope lens offering 3x optical and up to 100x digital zoom.
