As always, the Android phone world is set for a busy final quarter of the year. Many brands are expected to unveil new devices, especially flagship models, in the last quarter. According to new reports, the vivo X200 and OPPO Find X8 series may be announced before the Xiaomi 15 series for the first time. Here are the details…
vivo X200 Series Could Be Announced Early with Dimensity 9400
Digital Chat Station has shared that the vivo X200 and OPPO Find X8 series might be introduced earlier than expected. These flagship phones, powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 chipset, could be unveiled before the Xiaomi 15 series.
Typically, MediaTek announces its new Dimensity series chipset about a month after Qualcomm’s new processor launch. However, if the leaks are accurate, MediaTek might debut its first flagship processor with the vivo X200 and OPPO Find X8 series this year.
Qualcomm has set October 21 as the launch date for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. MediaTek has yet to announce a launch date, which supports this possibility. The Dimensity 9400, expected to feature ARM’s latest Cortex X925 performance cores, will deliver around 30% more performance compared to its predecessor.
Additionally, the vivo X200 series may include the X200 mini model with a 5,500mAh battery. The X200 Pro is expected to have a 6,000mAh battery. Currently, there is an expectation of around $800 for the standard version, but this information is not yet confirmed.
