Volkswagen and XPeng’s partnership is progressing

In April, XPeng and Volkswagen signed the latest strategic partnership framework agreement in the field of electronic and electrical architecture technology.
Under this new agreement, the two companies will jointly develop a new electronic and electrical architecture platform based on XPeng’s next-generation EEA architecture. This platform is expected to be used in Volkswagen-branded electric vehicles produced in China starting in 2026.
