China, one of the largest markets in the automotive world, is an area where companies compete fiercely. In this context, Volkswagen, which has been at the top for years, could not become the best-selling automobile brand in 2023. So which was the best-selling brand in China in 2023?

According to the news in futureflow.life, according to data from the China Automobile Association (CPCA), the automobile market will grow by around 5 percent in 2023, reaching 21,706 million vehicles. As the adoption of electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids accelerates, sales of internal combustion engine vehicles have declined for the first time. Accordingly, 13.958 million internal combustion vehicles were sold.
Sales of electric and plug-in hybrid models increased by 36.5 percent, reaching 7.748 million. This means that it accounts for more than a third of the total market. Despite the decline of internal combustion engine vehicles, the popularity of electric and plug-in hybrids has driven market growth.
