War Thunder is a free-to-play vehicular combat multiplayer game developed and published by Gaijin Entertainment. Announced in 2011, it was first released in November 2012 as an open beta with a worldwide release in January 2013; its official release was on 21 December 2016. Aircraft
- MiG-29 (all variants) — a bug that caused the afterburner to be disabled in “maneuver” mode has been fixed. (Report).
- Harrier T.10 — engine name has been corrected.
- F-100 (all variants), F-1, T-2 (all variants), Super Mystere B2, Sambad — a bug that caused the engine to quickly overheat at high altitudes has been fixed. (Report).
- Scout UAVs — radar cross section (RCS) has been increased to 0,005 m^2. (Report, Report).
- A bug that caused the MFD weapons screen, as well as the HUD and HMD to display weapons from the previous spawn if the current spawn was without any secondary weapons has been fixed.
Naval Vessels
- USS Northampton — a bug with water pumping that caused the ship to flood faster instead has been fixed.
- A bug that caused the stat card to display only one depth charge type instead of all of the ones that were equipped has been fixed.
- The frequency of voice lines that described firing results has been reduced.
Graphics
- A bug that caused vehicles to be visible through smoke in the UAV camera with thermals turned on has been fixed. (Report).
- A bug that caused the UAV camera (in picture in picture mode) to not display on the DirectX12 API in old videocard support mode has been fixed. (Report).
Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.
