The Meta Quest 3S will be available without a controller for around $299. This will make it more affordable for users than its predecessor, which was set at $500. The new entry-level version of the virtual reality viewer could be equipped with the Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chip also found in Meta Quest 3 and built-in displays with refresh rates between 90 and 120 Hz.

Meta AI support for Ray-Ban Meta will also be announced at the Meta Connect 2024 event.
