Vivo has accelerated its efforts to launch its budget-friendly model called V40 SE 5G under the V40 series . The smartphone seen on the Google Play Console shows that the launch is approaching as it has received important certifications.
What will Vivo V40 SE 5G offer?
Vivo V40 SE 5G with model number V2337 was recently confirmed. Google Console certification confirms that the phone supports cellular networks globally and will work on different countries’ networks.
The listing revealed that the V40 SE 5G supports a wide range of 5G network bands (n1, n2, n3, n5, n8, n20, n38, n40, n41, n66, n77 and n78). This means the phone will be available in different markets, supporting 5G frequencies around the world.
In addition, the V40 SE 5G has also been added to Google’s list of supported devices. This shows that the phone will come with Google Mobile Services out of the box.
Vivo V40 SE 5G is expected to be the successor to the V30 Lite that was launched late last year . It seems likely that it will be similar to the V30 Lite in terms of design, features such as screen, chipset and camera.
As a reminder, the V30 Lite 5G came with a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The model, powered by the Snapdragon 695 processor, had 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
It had a triple camera consisting of 64 Megapixel main, 8 Megapixel ultra-wide and 2 Megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it had a 50 Megapixel selfie camera with autofocus.
