WhatsApp continues to improve the user experience and now comes up with the favorite contacts feature. With this new feature, you can find and follow your important chats and contacts more easily. The WhatsApp favorite contact feature allows you to prioritize your most important connections, from family members to friends or favorite groups.

How to use WhatsApp favorite contact filtering?

WhatsApp has made it even easier to find your important chats by adding the favorite contact filter to the top bar of the Chats tab. With this new feature, you can quickly select your favorite contacts and groups. To add your favorite contacts, select the Favorites filter in the top bar on the Chats tab, and then select the contacts and groups you want to add.

In the app, you can set your favorite contacts not only for messaging but also for calls. To do this, go to the Calls tab in the bottom bar and select your favorite contacts by tapping ‘Add Favorite’. With this feature, you can have quicker and easier access to your favorite contacts.

Managing your favorite contacts is also quite simple. You can easily add or remove your favorite contacts by going to Favorites “ Add to Favorites from the Settings menu. The feature is rolling out gradually starting today and may take a few days to reach all users.

To use this new favorite contact feature, you’ll need to check the Play Store for a pending update for the WhatsApp app. However, it may take a few days for the update to reach all users worldwide.
