WhatsApp announced a feature that will save you from the disorganized list of neighbors, friends and family. This time, the popular messaging app came up with the Custom Lists feature, which it developed for users to manage chats in a more organized way. So what is this Custom lists feature? Thanks to the new feature, you will now be able to organize your WhatsApp chats much faster by categorizing them. In particular, it is now possible to collect frequently used chat topics such as family, work and friends in separate lists.

The new arrangement will not only provide a cleaner and more organized interface, but will also allow users to easily access their frequently communicated contacts or groups. The Custom Lists feature can be considered as an enhancement of WhatsApp’s previous chat filtering functionality.

While you used to be limited to marking your chats as favorites, now you can edit unlimited categories with the list creation function. To add a list, simply tap the “+” icon in the filter bar.

In addition, editing the lists you’ve created is also quite simple; just long-press on the list and you can rename it or remove it altogether. In other words, it’s a lifesaver, especially for users who carry out a lot of conversations together, such as work or school.

Custom Lists is rolling out gradually for all users and will be available to everyone in the coming weeks.
