WhatsApp has started testing a new feature that allows messages to be automatically translated into different languages with beta users. This feature, which will be built into the application, will perform translation operations directly on the device without the need for an internet connection.
WhatsApp is introducing an automatic translation function
With the new feature, users will be able to activate the automatic translation option for individual chats. This function, which is planned to be located just below the chat lock option in the Settings menu, can be managed separately for each chat. Thus, users will be able to manually determine which conversations will be translated.

The translation feature will initially be limited to Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Hindi and Russian. The necessary language packs for these languages will be downloaded to the device by WhatsApp and the translation operations will be carried out only on the device instead of cloud systems. In this way, both privacy will be protected and offline use will be possible. The application is expected to take important steps in terms of user privacy in the coming period.
Users will also have the opportunity to customize the translation settings. Optionally, all messages can be automatically translated or translation can be applied only to selected messages. No official statement has yet been made regarding when the feature will be available to all users.
After the testing process is complete, this feature is expected to be widely available. This innovation has already excited many users. What do you think about it? You can easily share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
