GTA 6 release schedule for console and PC
Several leaked test footage of GTA 6 shows a warning window about “low video memory”. This suggests that Rockstar is actively optimizing and testing for Windows.
It seems that GTA 6 will not follow the strategy of launching on consoles first, like GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2. In other words, GTA 6 will be released for both consoles and PC at the same time. It is possible to say that it will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Windows.
On the other hand, Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two leaked some information about the game’s release date in its latest earnings call. According to this, the company predicts a huge growth in revenues between April 2024 and March 2025. This timeframe coincides with earlier rumors that GTA 6 will be released in late 2024 or early 2025.
While Rockstar hasn’t announced GTA 6 yet, it usually starts advertising its new games six months before they launch. Assuming it sticks to that, we can expect the official GTA 6 trailer and details to arrive by the end of 2023.
