Microsoft is expanding its plans to deploy its GPT-4-based artificial intelligence assistant Copilot to more users. According to reports, Copilot is now rolling out to a wider Windows 11 base. On the other hand, Microsoft will also start providing Copilot to Windows 10 users.
Copilot update for Windows 11 and 10 is out
Recent reports have spotted an announcement confirming Microsoft’s expanded deployment of Copilto for Windows. Accordingly, the company has eliminated the requirement for users to sign in to a Microsoft account for the first 10 queries to Copilot. This will allow users to try Copilot’s capabilities even if they don’t have a Microsoft account on their device.
Copilot deployment is currently active for Windows 11 users on versions 22H2 and 23H2. Windows 10 Home and Pro devices on version 22H2 will start receiving Copilot in the coming weeks, starting this month.

Microsoft reported that the current deployment phase is targeted for the end of May. In this context, it plans to give its AI assistant to the majority of Windows 11 and 10 devices within a few months.
On the other hand, the company continues to integrate its AI-powered chatbot into its apps and services. As part of these efforts, it will finally be added to OneDrive. Users will be able to ask Copilot questions about their files in the cloud.
