Brad Pitt and George Clooney are back together on the big screen in the teaser for their upcoming action comedy WOLFS. The teaser showcases the dynamic duo, marking their first onscreen reunion since the 2008 crime comedy “Burn After Reading.”
In the WOLFS teaser, the pair shared an uncomfortably silent car ride, with Clooney behind the wheel looking visibly annoyed while Pitt fidgets restlessly. The brief trailer builds tension with the excruciatingly slow squeaking of windshield wipers, hinting at the comedic and suspenseful tone of the film. But now, the official trailer is released and we can watch the full action of the film!
Directed by Jon Watts, known for his work on the “Spider-Man” franchise, Wolfs’ Movie follows two lone-wolf fixers who find themselves covering up the same high-profile crime. The star-studded cast also includes Amy Ryan, Austin Abrams, and Poorna Jagannathan.
It was announced in September 2021 that Jon Watts would write and direct an untitled thriller film, with George Clooney and Brad Pitt starring and producing.[2] Apple TV+ acquired the rights to the film after winning a studio bidding war against studios including Sony Pictures (which would later take over theatrical distribution rights), Lionsgate, Annapurna Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Universal Pictures, Warner Bros. Pictures, Netflix and Amazon Studios (now called Amazon MGM Studios). Production of WOLFS began in New York City in January 2023, with Amy Ryan joining the cast. Larkin Seiple serves as cinematographer, with the film titled Wolves.[5][6] In February, Austin Abrams and Poorna Jagannathan were added to the cast.
Principal photography began in early January 2023 in New York City.[9] Clooney and Pitt filmed scenes in Harlem and Chinatown. Filming was suspended in July due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike. Now we have the teaser for the movie.
The film is scheduled to hit theaters on September 20. This much-anticipated reunion of Pitt and Clooney promises a blend of action and comedy that is sure to entertain audiences worldwide.
