Twitter challenger Threads has quietly removed the ability to post to Twitter from the app. According to a statement made by a Threads developer, the Share to Twitter feature was suspended because it was not preferred by users.
Threads, which was launched in recent months in response to the Elon Musk-led Twitter, has offered users the ability to share their posts directly to Twitter since its launch. However, it was noticed that very few people were using this feature.
In fact, Meta has not commented on this issue. A Threads user noticed it, and one of the app’s developers responded. “We removed the share with Twitter option due to low usage,” he explained.
