Microsoft has announced that its Xbox Cloud Gaming service will be available on LG’s new smart TVs. This means that the Xbox app will be added to select LG models later this year, enabling Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to play games on their TVs.
Xbox Cloud Gaming will be available on LG televisions
First of all, the Xbox app will be integrated with LG’s new Gaming Portal feature. This portal will include not only the Game Pass Ultimate library, but also LG’s webOS-based games. The new app will allow users to play games like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 directly from the cloud.
In addition, a new feature from Microsoft will allow users to play some Xbox games directly on their TVs. However, this feature only supports digitally owned games and is currently limited to around 50 titles such as Hogwarts Legacy, Cyberpunk 2077, NBA 2K25, and others. Physical game copies do not work with this system.
As you know, Game Pass Ultimate is available for 309 TL per month and provides access to a large library of games. Apart from that, Microsoft stated that it will announce more details about the partnership with LG in the coming months.
