Another sign of the game’s popularity was seen on SteamDB, where the action RPG currently holds the top spots on both the Trending Games and Popular New Releases lists. On launch day, Avowed reached 17,171 concurrent players on Steam.
For those who don’t know, Avowed takes players to the world of Eora, which is part of Obsidian’s Pillars of Eternity series. Set on an island full of ancient magic and mysteries, the game challenges players to make decisions that will shape the fate of its inhabitants. It offers a mix of combat, swords, magic, weapons, and shields.
Obsidian has stated that Avowed will not be an open-world game but will feature a structure divided into regions. Additionally, the game supports co-op gameplay.
