According to leaked information, Xiaomi will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which will be released by Qualcomm. The processor, which will be introduced with the model number SM8650, will have the code name Pineapple. Qualcomm will use a 2+3+2+1 core architecture for the new chipset. In this architecture, there are two ARM “silver” cores with the codename Hayes (A5xx), three ARM “gold” cores with the codename Hunter (A7xx), two ARM “titanium” cores with the codename Hunter (A7xx), and one ARM Hunter ELP (Xn) codenamed “gold Plus” core.
The Xiaomi 14 model will be introduced with a 6.44-inch 1.5K screen. It should be noted that the company will use a C7 OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate on its new model.
The device, which is said to be introduced with a triple camera setup, will use a 50-megapixel 1/1.28-inch Sony IMX 878 main camera and a JN1 telephoto camera with a 50-megapixel 3x zoom. There is no information available yet about the ultra-wide-angle camera and selfie camera of the device.
Among the leaked information is that the company will use UFS 3.1 and LPDDR5 technologies in the Xiaomi 14 series. Xiaomi 14 will be released with the base variation of 8+256 GB.
Another important development regarding the device is the battery. The Xiaomi 14 model will use a 4,700mAh battery with 90W fast charging technology.
