The first photo, allegedly of Xiaomi’s highly anticipated new smartphone, the Xiaomi 15T, has leaked online just days before its official launch. The device, seen in its box, reveals some of the key features and upgrades that will be included in the new T-series model. Here are the details.
The Xiaomi 15T will deliver powerful performance
According to the leaked photo, the Xiaomi 15T will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra chipset, a more powerful version than the Dimensity 8300-Ultra in last year’s 14T. This processor makes the device quite competitive in everyday use and gaming performance without significantly increasing its price.

The display also features a significant upgrade. Instead of the previous model’s 6.67-inch display, the phone will feature a 6.83-inch panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, providing a larger area for multitasking and content consumption.
The Xiaomi 15T’s battery capacity has also been increased. The new model is listed with a 5,500mAh battery, 500mAh larger than the 14T, and 67W fast charging support. While the leak doesn’t include camera details, information on the box confirms the return of the Leica Summilux lenses. Given the previous model’s powerful triple camera system (50MP main, 50MP telephoto, 12MP ultra-wide), we can expect similar or even more advanced hardware in the 15T.
The top-of-the-line Xiaomi 15T Pro is rumored to come with the Dimensity 9400+ processor. This suggests the Pro model will be capable of delivering high-end performance for even more demanding tasks. Xiaomi has officially announced the 15T series will be unveiled on September 24th and has begun sharing promotional posts on its social media accounts.
