Xiaomi’s new flagship series, the Xiaomi 17, continues to generate excitement in the tech world. The Xiaomi 17 Pro, the series’ top-tier model, has been glimpsed live for the first time in a leaked promotional video. These images reveal the phone’s design and key features.
The Xiaomi 17 Pro has officially been revealed
Ice Universe, who shared the leak, reveals the revamped display on the back of the Xiaomi 17 Pro. This feature, previously confirmed by the company’s official images, is considered the series’ most striking innovation.
The video shows a rear display integrated into the camera island bearing the Leica logo. This display will offer a more functional and customizable experience than the smaller rear panel on the Mi 11 Ultra, introduced in 2021.
The Xiaomi 17 Pro features a 6.3-inch OLED display on the front. The phone is reportedly powered by Qualcomm’s new flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The rear will feature a Leica-branded triple-camera system.
According to the leak, this camera system will consist of a 50MP main camera with an f/1.67 aperture, a 17mm ultra-wide lens, and a 5x optical zoom telephoto lens with an f/3.0 aperture.
The Xiaomi 17 series is expected to be officially unveiled this month. The series will include three models: the 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max. The top-of-the-line 17 Pro Max is reportedly expected to feature a 6.8-inch display.
