Xiaomi 17 Ultra Coming in Two Versions!

The highly anticipated flagship Xiaomi 17 Ultra will come in two versions, according to leaks. Here are the details.

New and exciting details about Xiaomi’s highly anticipated flagship model, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, have leaked. According to information shared by Digital Chat Station (DCS), a reliable source in the tech world, the device not only boasts powerful hardware but also groundbreaking features like satellite connectivity.

According to DCS’s Weibo post, Xiaomi has registered two versions of the 17 Ultra with Chinese certification platforms. These versions carry model numbers 2512BPNDAC and 25128PNA1C. Both variants will feature UWB (Ultra-Wide Band) support, providing high-precision positioning. However, the higher-end variant (25128PNA1C) will feature the most notable features: Tiantong satellite locating and Beidou text messaging.

This feature will allow users to stay connected even in remote areas where terrestrial networks are not available, such as deserts, offshore areas, or mountainous areas. This is a critical innovation, particularly enabling communication in emergencies and challenging conditions.

Other leaked reports indicate that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will boast top-tier specifications. The front of the device will feature a flat 6.8-inch OLED display with 2K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. High-capacity Xiaomi Jinsha River battery, wireless charging support, and IP68 water and dust resistance are expected.

Xiaomi is reportedly focusing on the camera system for this model. The 50-megapixel main camera, featuring an upgraded and larger sensor, will offer improved sharpness with in-sensor zoom technology. It will also feature a massive 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens capable of multiple focal lengths and even macro shooting.

The device is expected to be available in black, white, and purple. Rumors suggest that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be unveiled in China in the first quarter of 2026, most likely before the Chinese Spring Festival (usually in February). Its starting price is expected to be around 6,000 yuan (about $845).
